April 7th, 2007: Galaata 2007 . Nov 17th 2006: Natya by Project Pulse was a rip-roaring success. Udavum Karangal was a co-sponsor of the event. Oct 14th 2006: Galaata Funtopia was a day all for the kids. Apr 22nd 2006: We're starting to run out of superlatives for Galaata '06! :)  Check out the Galaata IDOL videos & some post-Galaata snaps. Nov 4th & 5th 2005: With outreach on our minds - we partnered with IMC6 & Shasta Foods to create a Diwali Movie Event distributing free sweets & informational fliers. May 7 2005: With the grand success of Galaata '04, we've decided to up the ante for Galaata 2005. Tamil film star Madhavan (aka Maddy) graciously accepted to be the guest of honour!!! Here is the original Galaata 2005 page. Sunday Oct 17th 2004: Crazy Mohan dramas Maadhu Mirandal and Crazy Ghost. September 24/25th 2004: Rahasiya Snehidiye by Naatak. Proceeds benefited Udavum Karangal. April 10th 2004: Galaata springFEST 2004 was a stupendous success. We had over 1,000 people during the whole day of fun and festivities. March 21st 2004: Maya by Krea Creations. Proceeds benefited Udavum Karangal. Sept 2-4th 2003: Mr. Vidyakar (Udavum Karangal's founder) visited the Bay Area. Vidyakar Listen to Vidyakar's Interview in MostlyTamil.com Aug 9th, 2003: A'shore productions Bravely fought the Queen. Thanks to our volunteers for helping A'shore. Aug 3rd, 2003: BATM presents Muthamizh Vizha with Solomon Pappiah. We generated a good buzz about Udavum Karangal in the bay area. And our food stall was a complete hit! June 27-29, 2003: Our first event; Where there's a will by Naatak - a sellout success!!! Thanks to our tireless volunteers for making our first event a huge success.
